Only use the glove drill with 1/2 swing.. but in the end , you should be able to feel the connecting to your torso, because u need it to compress the golf ball. When you wanna hit a shot, do it with no glove 3/4 swing.. u cant hit a shot when your focus is on not dropping the glove. Thx for the videos.. cheers

Your golf swing looks like you are over bending your arms and bunched up when you swing so I don’t know what the hell you’re talking about

Kun oldin
Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard
Top Speed Golf - Clay Ballard

It's okay to have some bend in the arms. Look at players like Jordan Spieth, Brooks Koepka and Lee Westwood. Excessive bend can lead to some issue but some bend is usually fine. I don't like the aesthetics of it but it's not something I've really worked on because I don't believe it would make much of a difference. Play well! ~ Quentin

The "pause* at the top is difficult then to get sync'd up.I find that simply thinking, " heavy"!, caused me to engage the hips more and sooner with the effect of giving an automatic, slow and smoofh transition with increased lag and more time for the club head to accelerate to impact, so the downswing is started by the hips turning before the shoulders start.

I noticed that you don’t emphasize flexing the knees when committing to the golf swing. For me to feel for the lag you refer to I can’t be standing to erect when swinging the club. I believe in past videos the notion of knuckle dragging was used to get the hands leading a trailing club head.

I've watched a million videos telling me to get the club in the slot to stop winging outside in and this finally made it make sense as to where the heck I was supposed to have the golf club and how my body was supposed to move to get it there. Hey Clay love the videos, I avg about 115mph and smash factor about 1.4 to 1.45 but I get the hooks any videos on getting rid of my hook? From watching I feel I need to hit the range and do the extreme both ways to find the sweet spot but any quick tips on getting rid of my hook would be solid! I avg about 285 on driver but usually play my 4 iron because my driver accuracy is so inconsistent. I also play a lot of softball so always feel that's a factor.

Clay I saw this video a few days ago and understood it to the tee! I am an older golfer about to turn 60 in few days. When I was younger I could hit my irons a long way i.e. 150 - 160 PW. Of course now as I become older and I had stopped playing for 10 years and pick it back up beginning of 2019. Well when I began hitting again I had to start all over again and I've been watching many videos but this one really hit home. I took all you taught on this and wow. I was hitting my 8 iron max 160 before, well yesterday I was hitting 172 to 176! My 7 I was hitting 170 to 175 now 185 to 192!! Oh and it felt soooo good hitting them flush and it felt effortless. By the way I also used it with my Driver..... I hit one 302 and average 291 to 296 before avg 270 to 280. THANK YOU!!!

Ok so I know this is an older video but it kind of gave it a chance since I've been having a problem with my irons. A little back ground I started playing when I was 28 I am now about to turn 60 on June 22. Well I stop playing about 2010 and started again beginning of 2019. So I started from the beginning and tried to work on my swing. Well back in the day I used to hit my 8 iron 160. When I began again I now I am older but still I should be hitting it at least 150. Well was having a terrible time getting back to my distances. Well I watched this video and understood exactly what he was teaching. I went today and warmed up. Well I started hitting my irons using this technique and guess what? I was hitting my 8 iron and avg of 172, my 6 iron 200 yrds, my 9 165 yrds, My driver!! 302!!!!! Yup and I am 60!!!!! Man thank you sooooo much!!!
